Although he describes himself in typically modest terms
as a “basic American style wrestler”, many UPW heads are
nonetheless turning with the sensational ring talents
exhibited lately by this dazzling, dynamic and
charismatic newcomer to our SoCal territory. Spanky,
like another Ultimate Pro hot rookie, Ruckus, also comes
from the famed Sean Michaels San Antonio wrestling
school and within the shortest time, he is delighting
and developing his own rapidly expanding fanbase.
A
nearly lifelong devotee of the pro grappling field,
Spanky first became certain that a future in the sports
entertainment was his calling when he saw the classic
Hulk Hogan/Ultimate Warrior battle at Wrestlemania 6.
Although he began contacting schools for training from
his high school days, it wasn’t till later that he found
Michael’s famed facility and was accepted there; soon
competing in Shawn’s Texas fed and eventually receiving
a WWF development deal that landed him in Memphis for
continued training. Now Spanky has moved west to pursue
a future in our own hot territory; first delighting
visitors to our weekly light shows and now making a
definite splash on the Galaxy scene.

love everything about UPW,” he now says excitedly, and
judging by the impact he has made in such a short time,
the feeling on the part of Ultimate Pro’s leaders and
followers, is unequivocally mutual!
