Excitement was at a fever pitch when former Extreme
Championship Wrestling star Nova first hit UPW. In the
subsequent months, that initial excitement has been
overwhelmingly exceeded, as Nova star is blazing bright.
A lifelong wrestling buff trained in New Jersey by the
legendary Iron Mike Sharpe, Nova spent his formative
career days on the East Coast as a mega successful ECW
solo performer, followed by a rapid ascension in the
tag team ranks. The tag experience served him well,
the team of Evolution he’s formed with Frankie
“The Future” Kazarian in UPW looks to catapult
him into the ranks of major wrestling superstar.
“It is truly amazing how me and The Future clicked,”
Nova admits now, “and not only in wrestling style;
our mat appearance, but also in our attitude towards
the sport. Frankie is a true student of wrestling who
devotes all his time, creativity and energy to improving

As for this super-nice guy himself who has always loved
comic book superheroes (hence his original name “Super
