With a young life rich with the rural values instilled from growing up on a Fresno farm, Marshall also benefited from the physical demands found there; as he early on excelled in school sports, most notably football and wrestling.  “My dad had been a state champ in high school so he personally trained me from the time I was a small kid. From the day I was born, it seems, we were rolling around on the rug at home.” Starting amateur wrestling in sixth grade, he progressed quickly but an unfortunate incident with a high school mat coach who he said “played favorites” made him decide that after graduation  he still had something to prove, so before long he was seeking out the best local pro wrestling camps in his area. “I started training in Fresno but the instructor  pointed me towards UPW because he felt that it had the best school with some great connections to bigger leagues.” Making the long drive down here weekly from his hometown to train and participate in our Saturday light shows, Knox soon came across his cousin, Outlaw Mike, who was also an outstanding student and an already well-known So Cal indy star.  “We realized the connection and before long our tag team was formed.” With much success over the past few years, Marshall now wants to see the Outlaws ascend to even even greater pinnacles of success and doesn’t rule out the chance that he, too, may even try out a solo match or two if the chance presents itself. “I’m gonna do whatever is necessary to make money and find gold in this federation, whether it be with my cousin or by myself someday.
