There are a lot of wrestlers here in UPW, but very few with the stature of the 465 pound superstar King Dabada. Dabada is a second generation wrestler, who has, by all accounts, all the tools necessary to make a huge impact in the sports entertainment world.
When describing what he did in his High School years, he states he, “Loved all the girls!” Dabada began watching wrestling in the Mid 1980’s as he watched his uncle Reno Tuufuli wrestling. As he got older, Dabada moved to Las Vegas and found former WWE Champion Yokozuna who trained him. Being trained by one of the best has certainly helped this larger than life character. Dabada definitely shows in the ring that he has a passion for this business. “I wrestle because I always wanted to be a wrestler since I was a little kid.” Dabada currently can be seen wrestling as a sumo wrestler, however evolving his character is always in the front of his mind. Dabada is well aware that the business is always evolving, and is always focused on becoming the best and most well rounded professional wrestler he can be. With his size, nobody is going to tell him anything different.
Dabada outside of the ring is a quite different from what the fans see in the ring. He is a very easy going, and “very, very friendly” person. Him being as humble as he is makes him very accessible to people, and as rarely has problems with others. He likes to consider himself one of the jokers of the locker room, and prides himself on having a good time, all the time. His goals in the wrestling business are to “make it on the Big Screen!” With wrestling in his blood, and the passion in his heart, Dabada may just make that dream come true sooner than later.
