Many come to the squared circle with unusual credentials but few can lay claim to the unorthodox past that this bruising brawler boasts. Raised in the Southwest in a family deeply entrenched in the entertainment field, (his granddad owned a string of nightclubs and horse tracks), the young Hollywood dreamed first of being a jockey; but with a teenage growth spurt that prevented that, he instead found himself hitting the rodeo circuit where he hit the arena sod as a clown and a harder-than-nails bull fighter.

“I got my nickname,” he explains, “because all the other guys there thought I was totally different than them. I didn’t fit that clean cut Western image; instead I rode a Harley; had long hair; an earring; had my belly-button pierced; definitely a different lifestyle.”  Later, however, his intense flair for sports entertainment was to turn to the wrestling ring as he met UPW star Horshu, who was himself, already a successful pro grappler; and soon he was training and joining forces with his bohemeth bud to wreak havoc throughout the Southwest territories.

Now a firm part of the Ultimate Power, Hollywood sees his mission as a simple one: “Rick Bassman has given me the chance to help protect his interests in the fed and I can see no better role to play. I am in the center of the game; with the gold, the women, the prestige and everything thing else that being a major player involves. I don’t intend to waste that opportunity.”  And to those who sit ringside during each Galaxy extravanganza and watch him and his partner thunderously trample opponents, while in the process defending UPW’s honor, that is a promise well on it’s definitive way to being fulfilled.
