The Hardcore Kid entered the ranks of professional wrestling
in a rather dubious manner, though not completely shocking
considering his time spent with the California Youth Authority!
"I was
hassling this guy and he told me that if I was 'so tough,'
why wasn't I a pro wrestler," said the Hardcore Kid.
"That's how I got started."
Unlike
many in UPW who have storied athletic backgrounds, the
Hardcore Kid admits only to playing Little League and
Pop Warner as a child."
"But,"
he adds, "I got a lot of fitness training running from
the cops."
As a
member of UPW, this fan of the movie Taxi Driver (not
surprising) hopes to showcase his talents.
"Being
a part of this organization gives me the opportunity
to beat the sh** out of people and get paid to do it,"
he said.
As far
as future goals, the Hardcore Kid plans on being known
around the globe.
"Everybody
from Mexico to Japan to Sudan will know my name," he
boasts.
Hardcore
Kid and his partner Justin Sane, along with their manager
El Jefe were victorious in a recent WWF dark match in
front of 20,000 people in San Jose. If that is not good
enough, Hardcore Kid also just received a WWF developmental
contract. It only proves with this kid's potential,
the sky is the limit.
