Comments:

He bounds into the ring with his long trenchcoat and dark glasses; much like the main character in the movie that changed his life…but unlike that classic film, the new wrestling sensation known as Matrix then goes on to dazzle his audience with what he describes as “a combination of tough power moves mixed with high flying techniques."  Already becoming a weekly super favorite at UPW light shows, this mega-faceted matman has now transitioned very naturally to our Galaxy super shows; as he now continues to build an even wider fan base.

A California boy by birth, Matrix first found success in a variety of school sports; most notably baseball, and he nearly was nabbed from his dream of wrestling to a major league pro ball career; but injuries prevented that…so it was soon on to pursue that other fantasy that he harbored ever since a pre-teen watching the early WWF Hogan-era broadcasts and then heading off for a local park to practice those favorite moves with his young buddies.

The quest however, found actual expression sometime later when the soon-to-emerge talent was introduced to a So-Cal training facility and some local indy grappling.  Fortunately for him, however, fellow trainee Al Katrazz, a then UPW recent entrant, turned him on to our Saturday night light show funfests and it wasn’t long before Matrix was on his weekly way to become a regular staple of them too.

Now battling our top talents in both light show and TV Galaxy matches, this rousing rookie also helps out as an assistant instructor at Ultimate U, all while sticking firm to his goal of delivering the absolute best wrestling to America’s absolutely best independent federation.

“Like the movie’s theme, I want to do amazing things in the ring..always creating that illusion; the illusion that I can break the very laws of gravity with my moves.”  And those who have seen Matrix flying high lately will have to agree on two certain conclusions: first, that this on-fire competitor is well on his way to achieving his long-held amazing goals and second, that his untapped reserve of limitless talent is anything but an illusion!
