Without much ballyhoo; without much publicity, this
amazing young talent has suddenly burst onto the UPW scene
and immediately garnered the highest praise and admiration
for his raw talent, intensity and ring savvy. Growing up
in the wild and untamed North, Vicious, then only 11,
recalls his first affinity with a famous wrestling family
when he accidentally turned on his TV before a soccer
practice and saw the man who was to become his own
personal icon, The Dynamite Kid, in mat action. “At that
moment I was hooked,” he recalls now. (He particularly
admired Kid’s ability to make moves look real, something
he himself enjoys trying to emulate, as well as the
British legend’s great physical condition, which the
chiseled Vicious clearly also possesses). Realizing soon
that this superstar had his training roots up in Calgary
Canada’s famed Hart family school, “I began saving my
nickels and pennies,” and by the time he reached early
adulthood he was ready to make the big move to the famed
school to make his grappling dreams come true. Meeting
the family; living with them and entering into an intense
mat education, Vicious now says, “They were absolutely
great people and I wouldn’t trade a minute I spent with
them.” In the past few years, however, he has relocated
to Southern California where he has already become a
standout talent.
Utilizing many of the skills he learned there and
perfected in local feds, the latest UPW phenom also brings
a whole unique arsenal of martial arts skills to the
squared circle; having been educated in various forms of
the discipline from judo to karate to kung fu, (which he
now successfully teaches at a leading SoCal dojo.
Excelling in both singles and tag team action, there is
one guarantee the Kid makes to all his fans: “While my
maneuvers in the ring may be vicious, the action is
guaranteed to be delicious!!!”
