Where do the Producers and Casting agents for martial arts action star JET LI's next big movie go when they are looking for American talent? You guessed it... OC DOJO was visited by around 30 of the worlds top martial artists when a special invitation only casting call was issued by OC Dojo co-owner Rick Bassman. The dojo looked like a who's-who's of the martial arts community with guests like Ken Shamrock, Bas Rutten, Eddy Millis, Eric Paulson, Vladamir Matushenko and larger than life wrestlers Sylvester Terkay, Mathew Tyler and Luther Reigns to name a few. OC Dojo co-owner Tom Howard had the honor of getting in the ring with each of the fighters as a sparring partner to demonstrate their respective skills. "I think that the finest of just about every style was represented, from the French Savate champion who kicked me in the face twice before I could blink to a 300+ lb. wrestler who picked me up over his head, spun me around and slammed into the mat like I owed him money" said Howard. |
