Current Happenings at UPW & Ultimate University

November 03, 2003:

UPW has signed German Powerhouse Stefan Gamlin for a four fight deal with K-1.  More signings at K-1 soon to be announced!

This past Saturday night, Skulu's church, The Service Heart Ministry, hosted a traditional Luau and Polynesian Feast as their major annual fundraiser.  James Lukash, Sabbath, Tom Howard, Rick Bassman, Antonio Mestre, Big Babbi Slymm attended.

Tom Howard, Predator and Skulu are headed back to Zero-One for the NOV 21-24 and DEC 11-14 tours.  More UPW wrestlers will soon be announced for these tours.

Hardkore Kidd and Outlaw Mike Knox had excellent showings on the recent Zero-One tour.  Both are expected to return soon.

UPW wrestlers appearing on WWE TV this past week alone include Nathan Jones, Victoria, Horshu, John Cena, Spanky, Jon Heidenreich and Keiji Sakoda.  Nova is expected to appear in a major role soon.

UPW is currently in production on an episode of a popular TLC one hour show.  Hardkore Kidd, Big Schwag, Tom Howard, El Jefe and Rick Bassman are featured.

Todd Keneley will announce the November 15 Valor Event at Gotham in San Bernadino.

Marty Rubalcaba will referee a good portion of the action at WWE's November 22 event at LA's Staples Center.

The Ballards, Ma'koa, Sabbath, Tony Stradlin, Andrew Hellman, Al Katrazz and Mike Mizanin will participate in dark matches December 8 & 9 for WWE, at Anaheim and San Diego, respectively.

All 6 UPW DVDs are now available at major retailers throughout North America.

UPW's 5th Anniversary Show at The Grove of Anaheim scheduled for December 17 2003, a benefit for Life Rolls on, will feature Sting, Roddy Piper, Ken Shamrock and many more. Stay tuned for full details soon. 
 

Promo Class is back with a vengeance at Ultimate University, under the watchful guidance of Rick and Schwag. Early standouts include "Lil'" Nate Nickerson, Tony Stradlin, Shane "Ma'koa" Roberts and Sam "Andrew Hellman" Culver.

Ultimate University would like to welcome its newest students Hector Canales, Daniel Courtney, Matt Pena, Caesar Solorzano and Tommy Schlotfeldt. The new students come along so quickly these days, due in no small part to the excellent and patient instruction of Shannon & Shane Ballard, who themselves are vastly improved over the past year. The Ballards will appear in dark matches for WWE during their next visit to Southern California.

Pro Wrestling Iron's Mike Modest, Donovan Morgan and Bison Smith are in for UPW's 5th Anniversary show.

Steve "Navajo Warrior" Islas continues to provide opportunities to UPW standouts on his Impact Zone Wrestling shows in Arizona, especiaally now with IZW's bi-weekly TV taping. Navajo is a great mentor.
